Lebowski Fest Speed of Sound Tour in 15 Cities!
Lebowski Fest is packing up their dirty undies and hitting the road for a 15 city North American tour! The Speed of Sound Tour will include a Movie Party and a Bowling Party in each city. The tour kicks off with the 8th Annual Lebowski Fest in Louisville and then rolls through Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia, New York, DC and Austin! Dates are as follows:

Lebowski Fest LA Wrap-Up
With the Wiltern Theater marquee illuminating the Los Angeles night, the curtain went up on Lebowski Fest 2009. The Dudely Lama, founder of the officially registered religion ‘Dude-ism’ blessed the event by leading the crowd in the Dude-ist Prayer. 
Among the other highlights were the Ralph’s check-out girl (Robin Jones) re-enacting her indolent gum-chewing scene, Liam O’Brien (Jim Hoosier) re-enacting his post-strike belly shake, Da Fino (Jon Polito) doing the sleazy P.I. bit as only he can, and Woo (Phillip Moon) defiling a perfectly good carpet. Over 1,500 Achievers watched the movie on the giant screen and the night was complete.
Then it was on to the Cal Bowl for a sold out night of bowling and what-have-you.
Best Jesus, Maude, Walter and Dude bowl-off for the rug soiled by Woo.
White Russians were everywhere.

8 Actors and other guests to appear in LA!
Lebowski Fest LA is upon us and will kick off this Thursday, May 7th with the Movie Party at The Wiltern with appearances by Philip “Ever Thus To Deadbeats” Moon (Woo the rug pisser), Jon “Brother Seamus” Polito (Da Fino), Jesse “Stonewallin” Flanagan (Little Larry), Jim “Belly Shakin” Hoosier (Liam), Lu “Family Restaurant” Elrod (The Waitress), Luis “I Kill Your Car” Colina (Corvette Owner), Robin “Bubblegum” Jones (Ralph’s Girl) as well as Jeff “The Dude” Dowd, the real-life inspiration for The Dude! Musical guest and 8-year-old guitar prodigy Yuto will rock the house in addition to Lebowski-inspired performances throughout the evening. This will be followed by a screening of the movie!
The next night is the Bowling Party on Friday, May 8th at The 68 lane Cal Bowl! Special guest appearances by Mark “You’re Not Dealing With Morons” Pellegrino and many of the other actors and special guests mentioned above!
Plus unlimited bowling, costume, trivia, other contests and what-have-you!

Daily Show’s Rob Riggle in Louisville!
Daily Show correspondent, actor/comedian Rob Riggle will perform at the 8th Annual Lebowski Fest in Louisville on July 10th! Rob has appeared on The Office and Arrrested Development, and was also a cast member on SNL for 2004-2005. Rob was born in Louisville and will be returning to headline the Movie Party. Music by Black Diamond Heavies and Whistle Peak.
